A camera is the save button for the mind’s eye

– Rogen Kingston

Every year, on August 19th, the world celebrates world photography day. You can read here about how we featured talented photogs who are going beyond the physical and geographical barriers to excel at their talents in photography.

This year however, we will focus on the home front, Kenya and share the diferent events scheduled for the day(today).

  1. Canon Body and Sensor Cleaning in Nairobi

This will be hosted today from 9AM to 4PM by Photographers Association of Kenya (PAK)in collaboration with Photo Kenya. The venue for this is All Saints Cathedral Trinity Center, Nairobi. If you know any Canon users, share this with them so that they can get in on this as well.Canon

2. Photography Convention in Nairobi

I got this email that partly read

“If you are a photographer with your own DSLR camera and you don’t get regular work please attend our event on Friday 19th. We have something for you. It doesn’t matter how long you have been a photographer.”

Please attend Photography Day this Friday at the TRM MALL CONVECTION CENTRE THIKA ROAD

Thank you for reading this.

Spread the word to all photographers you know of.

The event will be from 10AM to evening so do pass by if you are in Nairobi and its vicinity.

So there you have it folks, if you have any event you would like us to share and know of do let us know in the comments for a follow up 🙂

Whatever tool of trade you use, a phone, a DSLR camera or a mirror-less. We wish you a HAPPY world Photography day. Measure your progress and be proud of where you are.
